Meet Leah

My professional work began through massage therapy, and over the years has expanded into breathwork, subtle energy work, craniosacral therapy, movement, group work, ecstatic dance facilitation, life coaching and other embodied practices. I’ve had the privilege of working with people in many different seasons of life, and again and again, I’ve witnessed something that continues to shape the way I practice:

There is an intelligence within us that knows how to move toward greater wholeness.

I’ve come to believe that the body is not simply something we live in.

It is an intelligent system.

It speaks through sensation, breath, movement, tension, intuition, pleasure, discomfort, rhythm, and the subtle shifts we sometimes notice before we have words for them.

My work is an invitation to listen.

Sometimes that listening happens through therapeutic bodywork, where we slow down enough to feel and receive. Other times it happens through breath, movement, or energy work. Or maybe it happens through conversation and reflection.

And sometimes it happens in community, through shared experience, authentic connection, play, ritual, learning, and the simple experience of being witnessed by others.

I don't see these as separate paths.

They are different doorways into the same larger work: becoming more deeply connected to ourselves and to life.

We don't always need to dig deeper, analyze more, or push ourselves harder in order to change.

Sometimes, we need space.

Space to slow down.
To notice what is already here.
To experience something supportive.
To reconnect with sensation, curiosity, pleasure, relationship, and possibility.

This perspective has become woven into the way I approach all of my work and my life.

You are not a problem to solve.

You are a living, changing, intelligent being.

And my mission is to help create the conditions for more of that intelligence to be felt, expressed, and trusted.

Beyond the session

My life outside of my practice is part of what informs the way I work, too.

I’m a mother, a partner, a lifelong learner, and someone who finds a lot of wisdom in ordinary moments; being in nature, moving my body, sharing a meal, laughing with people I love, dancing, creating, and gathering people together.

I’m endlessly curious about the human experience and have explored many different traditions and practices along the way, including Daoism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Five Elements Qi Gong, Hermetic teachings, the I Ching, breathwork, ecstatic dance, authentic relating, and embodied approaches to personal growth and transformation.

These explorations have taught me that there are many ways to come home to ourselves.

I don't believe there is one right way to become more fully yourself.

I believe that healing doesn't always have to be heavy.

There can be pleasure in the process.

There can be laughter, beauty, curiosity, movement, music, connection, and play.

There can be community.

There can be room to simply be human.

Your system knows the way.

My role is not to tell you where that way is.

My role is to create space for you to discover it.
